Belk department store in Staunton, Virginia. This store opened in 1987 under the Leggett nameplate as part of the conversion and expansion of the then open-air Staunton Plaza into the enclosed Staunton Mall. The store became Belk in 1996 after Belk acquired the Leggett chain outright. This store continued to operate after Staunton Mall closed permanently at the end of 2020.
