Covered portion of the main deck of the M/V W. Stanford White, a ferryboat running the Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry service, part of the North Carolina Ferry System. This area is normally filled with cars, but due to a light load on this trip, no cars were parked in this area. An open-air passenger promenade is located directly above this area.

The Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry line carries North Carolina Highway 12 across Hatteras Inlet between Hatteras and Ocracoke Islands.
