A red switch protected by a locked plastic cover on a column in an aisle at the Michaels store at Tanglewood Mall in Roanoke County, Virginia. This space was created for A.C. Moore, another arts and crafts retailer, and converted to Michaels following the latter company's acquisition of the former.

And unfortunately, I never did find out what this switch does. Considering that it's protected like this, it must be very important.
