Replica of a Holiday Inn guest room as part of the "Driving America" exhibit at The Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan. Aside from the vintage furnishings, I was surprised at how austere the room looked. The layout was mostly like a typical hotel room today, but I was surprised to see that concrete wall. After all, no hotel today would ever make a room where the cinderblocks were visible to guests.
