Site of the former P. Buckley Moss Museum in Waynesboro, Virginia. The museum, which featured works from local artist P. Buckley Moss, closed in 2014 and was replaced by a smaller gallery space in downtown Waynesboro. The property was then donated to Virginia Tech, which eventually sold the land to a developer. At the time that this photo was taken, demolition of the museum building and clearing of the property had been completed a few days prior, and the site was being prepared for construction of a 252-unit apartment complex.

I admit that I was sad to see the museum building be demolished due to its architectural style, which resembled buildings depicted in Moss's paintings. However, the building itself had no real historic value, being a commercial building constructed in the 1980s.
