Hometown Grill and Buffet, which replaced a franchised Shoney's restaurant on the same site after it abruptly closed on April 22, 2013.

The new restaurant, while serving similar items as the former Shoney's, is under new ownership, and was initially staffed mostly by former employees of the old Shoney's. Minimal changes were made to the exterior of the structure from its time as Shoney's. Note that the Shoney's sign frame is still used, and that the sign visible from the highway still advertises Shoney's, despite that the Shoney's had been gone for more than a year by this point.

In addition, the Red Roof Inn advertised on the sign began life as a Shoney's Inn.
