A train arrives at Wiehle-Reston East station just prior to beginning a trip to Largo Town Center. Prior to the opening of the Silver Line to Ashburn, due to the track configuration at Wiehle-Reston East, trains would enter on the outbound track and go out of service, reverse in a pocket track just beyond the station, and then return to the station on the inbound track in order to begin service towards Largo Town Center.
