The former Microsoft Store at the Tysons Corner Center shopping mall in McLean, Virginia. Microsoft closed all of their stores in March 2020 when everyone else closed their stores at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, but then opted to make the closures permanent in most cases, save for locations in New York City, London, Sydney, and Redmond, Washington. At the time that this photo was taken, the permanent closure of this store had already been announced, but the store still appeared frozen in time, as it had not been vacated or otherwise touched in any way since it closed for the night on what ended up being its last day of business.
