Standard Electric Time Company 101056 bell on the second floor of Maury Hall, on the campus of James Madison University. This bell was not a fire alarm bell, and was not used during the time that I was a student. I suspect that this bell, along with similar bells in other older buildings, were once used to signal class changes, though I have no confirmation of this.
