Former Microsoft Store at Pentagon City Mall in Arlington, Virginia. Microsoft closed all of their stores in March 2020 when everyone else closed their stores at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, but then opted to make the closures permanent in most cases, save for locations in New York City, London, Sydney, and Redmond, Washington. At the time that this photo was taken, the permanent closure of this store had been announced, and the merchandise had been cleared out, leaving only the fixtures behind.
