Belk department store in Staunton, Virginia. This store opened in 1987 under the Leggett nameplate as part of the conversion and expansion of the then open-air Staunton Plaza into the enclosed Staunton Mall. The store became Belk in 1996 after Belk acquired the Leggett chain outright. When the mall closed permanently in 2020, the Belk store continued to operate.
