Keypad guard on a point-of-sale terminal at the Giant Food store in Burtonsville, Maryland. The guard was placed in an ostensible attempt to prevent the spread of COVID-19, but clearly, no effort was made to replace it regularly, as the guard had become very grungy - far more than if they had never put the guard in place and just wiped the buttons down periodically.
