Former Sbarro restaurant at the Charlottesville Fashion Square shopping mall in Charlottesville, Virginia. This location looked frozen in time, appearing ready to open up and start serving up pizzas again at a moment's notice. However, noting that thie location was unchanged from the way that it looked when I last visited in October 2020, what may have originally been intended as a temporary closure, likely as a result of operating restrictions introduced as part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, eventually became permanent.
