Standard Electric Time Company 101056 bell on the ground floor of Gabbin Hall, a building on the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. This bell was not a fire alarm bell, and was not used during the time that I was a student. I suspect that this bell, along with similar bells in other older buildings, were once used to signal class changes.
