Site of the former Waynesboro city landfill, on the east side of the city. The landfill was closed, capped, and seeded in the early 2000s, and the site has sat vacant ever since. Plans have been floated for a concept known as "Sunset Park", but no construction had occurred as of the time that these photos were taken.
