Demolition progress at the former Staunton Mall, on June 4, 2022. Staunton Mall closed at the end of 2020, and demolition began in 2022. This view shows the mall's center entrance. This entrance historically had "Staunton Mall" signage over it, which was later changed to Stone & Thomas and then Peebles. The "Hot Wok" signage was installed in 2020, and refers to a Chinese restaurant that was a longtime tenant in the mall, which relocated to a new spot next to this entrance.
