WMATA railcar 6181, berthed at the platform at the Vienna Metro station in Fairfax County, Virginia. 6181, along with its mate, 6180, is unusual because it is the only 6000-Series pair to have received an exterior wrap, intended as a test of a new surface treatment for their aluminum-bodied railcars, in order to allow Metro to use more environmentally-friendly chemicals in their car washes. However, the program was not extended beyond the initial group of cars.
