Accident between a 2018 Honda HR-V and a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder at the intersection of Montgomery Village Avenue and Christopher Avenue in Gaithersburg, Maryland in the early morning of October 9, 2022. Both vehicles were totaled in the collision, which was caused when the driver of the Pathfinder ran a red signal at a high rate of speed, and collided with the left side of the HR-V. The driver of the Pathfinder fled the scene, while the driver of the HR-V was treated and released at the scene for minor injuries.
This photo shows the exterior damage to my Honda HR-V in its final position following the collision. My car traveled 150 feet after impact before coming to rest at the curb on the westbound side of Lost Knife Road.
