I get a selfie in my 2018 Honda HR-V at the Morton's tow lot in Derwood, Maryland a day or so after it was totaled in an accident at the intersection of Montgomery Village Avenue and Christopher Avenue in Gaithersburg. I am wearing no glasses, as my glasses had been broken during the accident. My smile is forced, since I was in the unenviable situation of having to say goodbye to a car that I had loved, and had expected to continue to drive for many more years to come.
