The former site of Staunton Mall as of September 14, 2023, now largely reduced to a concrete slab and a few piles of rubble. This photo depicts a large debris pile where the mall's center court once existed. The pile consisted largely of various interior debris, as well as some items recognizable from the time when the mall was open, such as this padded soccer ball from the WHSV-sponsored children's play area that existed in the Belk wing.
