Elyse Horvath gives a hug to former CARTA bus 3426, a 1996 New Flyer D356HF, prior to our departure for home without the bus. Our intent was to bring it all the way back to the Washington, DC region, but this unfortunately was not to be, as the bus began experiencing significant mechanical problems about 17 miles into its journey, which necessitated that it be towed to a shop for repairs.
