Communications tower at Sunset Park, a new park under construction on the former site of the city landfill in Waynesboro, Virginia. The landfill closed in 2003, and was subsequently capped and seeded. The site was eventually converted into a park, which opened to the public in June 2024. This antenna predates the park by decades, and has been there since the site was a landfill. It is visible in this photo of Waynesboro from July 2004.
