Second floor mall entrance for the Sears store at the Newport Centre shopping mall in Jersey City, New Jersey. At the time of my visit, the store was conducting a closing sale, which would continue until March 3. At this point in the sale, all of the remaining merchandise had been brought down to the first floor, and the second floor was completely closed off and vacated. How ironic that the signage on the door indicating that the second floor was closed advertised a remodel, when the store was actually closing down.
