"Marty" robot at the Stop & Shop store in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. This store was unusual in that it was essentially a Giant-PA store, but with Giant-MD decor and products. This came about because the facility began life as an Edwards Super Food store, which parent company Ahold had placed under Giant-PA management, thus explaining the Giant-PA architecture and layout. Edwards was later phased out and stores were converted to Stop & Shop, which is a brand under the Giant-MD umbrella, which is a different division of Ahold.
