Green exterior light on a soft mockup of a pair of 8000-Series railcars, at Metro's Fleet of the Future Expo on the National Mall in Washington, DC. No WMATA railcar has ever had a green light on the side of the cars before, so it is a mystery as to what this light will indicate.

The purpose of the Fleet of the Future Expo was to demonstrate to the public the various features of the upcoming 8000-Series railcars, which will be manufactured by Hitachi.
