Aerial view of the Best Western Plus hotel at 5217 Mudd Tavern Road in Thornburg, Virginia. The construction of this hotel was a much longer process than typical, as the original owners ran out of money, and construction stopped in 2009 after the shell had been completed. The hotel was left abandoned in an unfinished state for a number of years, before construction resumed and the hotel was completed in 2016.
