A row of artificial potted plants is used as a barrier to block the view of the opening ceremony of Scientology's new 16th Street facility from the public. This was combined with a long curtain hung across the intersection of 16th and P Street NW. Why Scientology went to such lengths to block the public from seeing their opening ceremony, I do not know.
