Ben Schumin Photography Portfolio

Sign frame for the now-defunct Howard Johnson's restaurant on Afton Mountain in Virginia. The Afton Mountain location opened in 1948, and operated for fifty years, closing in 1998. This sign frame contained the Franchise Associates version of the Howard Johnson's logo until 2004, when the sign was either destroyed or removed.
