"No swearing" sign on a lamppost along Atlantic Avenue in the resort area of Virginia Beach, Virginia. These signs were part of a "No Bad Behavior" campaign that had been introduced in 2000. The signs were removed in 2019 after a business group lobbied the city for their removal, considering them unwelcoming and ineffective.
