A Lathem LTR4-128 digital master clock behind an Edwards cover at Stuarts Draft Middle School in Stuarts Draft, Virginia.
This clock has been in place since at least 1992, and replaced an earlier clock system original to the building's 1978 construction. Apparently the original clock system was manufactured by Edwards, which also made the building's original fire alarm system, an Edwards Custom 6500. I'm told that the original clock system frequently malfunctioned, which led to its replacement. I have no idea what model of clock system would have gone into this enclosure, as I've only ever seen the Lathem clock in this space. The school has no synchronized wall clocks, therefore this system only drove the class-change bells (which in this school, are an electronic tone over the PA system).
