Produce section of the Giant Food store at the corner of 7th and O Streets NW. This Giant store is housed in the former O Street Market building. The market closed in 2003 after the roof collapsed during a snowstorm. The building was repurposed into a Giant Food store, opening in late 2013. This store replaced a previous Giant Food store on this block that had closed in order to make way for new development. The building's decor has an historic theme to it, paying tribute to the heritage of the site. This section of the store is in the former O Street Market space, while other parts of the store are new construction.
