Debut of the Washington Metro's new 7000-Series railcars on January 6, 2014 at Greenbelt station in Prince George's County, Maryland. This four-car set, numbered 7004-7007, will undergo acceptance testing for several months before entering revenue service.
This photo shows the master controller in the operator's cab. Rather than being on the console as in previous models, the master controller is now against the wall on the right side of the cab.
