The Francis Scott Key Bridge, completed in 1923. The bridge spans the Potomac River between the Rosslyn neighborhood in Arlington, Virginia and the Georgetown neighborhood in Washington DC. It replaces the Aqueduct Bridge, which was closed in 1923 upon the opening of the Key Bridge, and later demolished. This photo was taken from the stub of the Georgetown end of the bridge.
