Aerial view of the former Peebles building at Staunton Mall. This building was built in the 1960s to house a Woolworth's store. Woolworth's remained in the mall when the facility was enclosed in the 1980s, and lasted until the end of the Woolworth chain in the 1990s. The space was renovated for Stone & Thomas, which operated in the building for a relatively short period before selling the location to Peebles, which operated in the building until closing in 2018.
