Ordering kiosk at the McDonald's restaurant on Pleasant Valley Road in Winchester, Virginia, closed in order to maintain social distancing, ostensibly to prevent the spread of COVID-19. I found this move to be a bit curious, considering that COVID-19 is an airborne disease rather than one spread via surfaces, and therefore it would make more sense to have people ordering via the kiosk rather than through another person, but clearly, what do I know?
