Emergency intercom on WMATA railcar 4018. The 4000-Series emergency intercoms were never upgraded to the two-button model, and never received the glow-in-the-dark panels. This particular railcar, following repairs from a collision that occurred in November 2004, contained a patch where a second button would be on other car series.
