A Washington Metro 1000-Series car is in the lead position in an Orange Line train to Vienna on the outbound track at Largo Town Center.

From 1999 to 2008, Metro ran a special service pattern on July 4. The final version of this special service pattern was similar to the later Rush+ service pattern, which, prior to the opening of the Silver Line in 2014, sent Orange Line trains to Largo Town Center on a regular basis.
