Demolition progress at the former Staunton Mall, on June 4, 2022. Staunton Mall closed at the end of 2020, and demolition began in 2022. This photo shows the Belk wing from the air, from the west. At this time, while the original part of the mall was largely demolished, the Belk wing, which was an expansion constructed in the 1980s, was still fully intact.
