Sign for a junction with Tennessee State Route 462, also known as the Northwest Connector, on Genesis Road (SR 298) in Crossville, Tennessee. Tennessee uses two different shield styles for state routes. State primary routes use a square shield with the outline of the state on it, while secondary routes use a triangular shield as seen here.
