The Roanoke Star on April 22, 2007, its first night after being changed to all-white in honor of those who died in the shooting at Virginia Tech nearly a week prior. The star had been dark for the previous four nights due to a tree's causing damage to power lines that fed the star. Note that several sections of the star are out. The red, white, and blue color configuration was restored on May 24, 2007.
