The Choptank River Bridge, which carries US 50 across the Choptank River. The current bridge, a four-lane none-span beam bridge, is named for Frederick C. Malkus. It opened to traffic in 1987, replacing an earlier bridge immediately adjacent. Following the new bridge's completion, the older bridge was cut in two and is now known as Bill Burton Fishing Pier State Park.
