View of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station from above the Brunner Island Steam Electric station. This view is only possible from the air, as it is unfortunately not possible to see Three Mile Island from Brunner Island from the ground.

Interestingly, while the two facilities are only about four and a half miles apart from each other, due to the locations of the various bridges over the Susquehanna River, it is a 27-mile (38-minute) drive between the two sites.
