Liquidation sticker on a clothing rack in the men's apparel area at the Kmart store in the Bridgehampton Commons shopping center in Bridgehampton, New York. This store was not being liquidated at the time of my visit, so this label was puzzling. I doubted that the rack was for sale, so I assumed that it was something that the store had acquired from a closing store somewhere else and just never bothered to remove the sticker before putting it on the salesfloor.
At the time that this photo was taken, this store was the last full-size Kmart operating in the continental US. The week after this visit, the store began a going-out-of-business sale, and would close permanently on October 20. A Target store is planned to open in the space in 2026.
