A Fire-Lite BG-12 in the gymnasium at Stuarts Draft Middle School. This pull station replaced an Edwards 270A-SPO pull station in the same location during a fire alarm upgrade in 2005. I believe that the "22" on the wall over the pull station refers to the system zone in which the pull station is located.
As originally built, this pull station was the only one in the school that was not paired with a horn. Otherwise, there were no horns that were not paired with pull stations in the original system. When an eight-classroom addition was constructed in 1993, the new corridors contained Cerberus Pyrotronics MS-151 pull stations, but no new notification appliances. When the fire alarm system was replaced in 2005, all of the pull stations were replaced by the Fire-Lite BG-12, all of the original Edwards horns were replaced by Wheelock AS horn/strobes, and an additional Wheelock AS was placed in one of the corridors added during the addition, making that the only notification appliance not paired with a pull station.
Additionally, as a side note, I now own the original pull station that existed in this location.
