Pedestrian bridge, originally part of Rockingham Memorial Hospital. This bridge was redesigned to match the architectural style of the James Madison University campus after JMU purchased the old hospital building when the hospital moved to a new site.
Personally, I think that the new architecture on this bridge very strongly resembles the bridge on Torgerson Hall at Virginia Tech. I would have preferred something that evoked the architecture of Wilson Hall a bit more, working some of the red Spanish tile roof material in, as the top of the skywalk really needs something more.
