Car 3217, a WMATA 3000-Series railcar manufactured by Breda, leads a Red Line train into Grosvenor-Strathmore station in North Bethesda, Maryland. This car, along with its mate, 3216, was involved in a collision at the West Falls Church rail yard on November 29, 2009. In that incident, 3216 was damaged beyond repair.
