Reconstruction of Virginia state secondary route 608 (Cold Springs Road) in Stuarts Draft, Virginia, April 2006. The project installed a box culvert and raised the roadway in order to prevent the road from flooding during heavy rain events. The project took six months to complete, during which time all traffic was diverted along a lengthy detour route.
